I've worked my entire career to make the world a better place.
After teaching English to immigrants in the US, I realized I wanted to have a bigger impact on society and got my Master's in Public Administration (Public Policy) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. As a consultant to non-profit organizations (NGOs) and as a Grants Manager at a community health center that served poor, immigrant, and uninsured populations, I developed my writing, research, and database skills. During my five years as Budget Analyst at the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance (welfare department), I received the Commissioner’s Award for Excellence for the database I created for the vocational training program.
In 2013 I became a health care policy consultant at the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Health Law and Policy Center (HLP), which provides expertise to state governments and other stakeholders on health care policy issues. I worked on diverse projects, including DRG hospital payments, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), long-term care, and interRAI's MDC tool. I rose in ranks from Senior Policy Analyst to Associate.
Now living in Zürich with my Swiss husband, I provide research, writing, and data analysis services to NGOs and Stiftungen (Foundations).
